In 1998, while was working on my Master's degree in Publishing, I was hired as Natural Health magazine's editorial intern. Within 6 months, I was offered a full-time position as assistant editor and the following year was promoted to associate editor.

- to conceive, assign, and edit feature articles, short feature articles, and expert columns.
- to write and edit feature articles and news items.
- to supervise the work of junior editors, interns, and freelancers.
- to do media appearances for the magazine, being prepared to talk on any subject from the current issue.
